The hotel room was absolutely amazing! It had a cozy living room downstairs and a classy bedroom upstairs. I felt like a VIP in my own little duplex. So stylish and modern!

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the personal steam rooms. It's just not my thing, but others might enjoy it.

The ambience was very nice and the staff was well trained. We were only there for a single night getaway but we had a fabulous experience.

The complimentary arrival drink at the check in counter and fruits in the room. I like the design of the hotel very much...it is very classic european style...this is the only hotel in Jakarta with such design all around. Food at the cafe was also excellent. The hotel gives a comfortable home feeling.

The hotel was wonderful and fairly clean. the staff, from valet to restaurant staff, were affable. - the location in the local neighborhood was particularly good. - the view was great. - There were a wide array of restaurants nearby, such as Sarang Oci that was only a 5-minute walk away.

Strategic location with free parking available close to fabulous Jakarta and a convenient store. Well-equipped and tastefully decorated rooms with double bed, bathtub plus a birthday cake, clean pool. Good food, very professional staff from valet to restaurant staffs.

The value for money at this hotel was amazing, with comfortable rooms and great facilities. The location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants and street food right outside the front door. The staff went above and beyond to meet our specific needs and were always friendly and helpful.

The location was great and everyone knew the address. Stuff were very friendly. the bed was really comfortable.

While booking, I requested a room with 2 beds, but they gave me a room with a single bed. After complaining, they asked me to pay for the other bed (which i refused). since i had mentioned that in my booking confirmation adn the hotel stuff did not pay attention (finally i got a small room with 2 different type beds)

The Gran Mahakan contacted me to advise the room I booked was full and offered me a free upgrade. Staff always helpful, but not the quickest to react to dealing with a request. Good location, very secure and kept very clean.

The upgraded room offered, wasn't very modern, even though considered an upgrade. Furniture was worn, with two small lcd T/V's in a duplex, no working desk within the Duplex and lampshade chords and switches needed replacing. I had to ask for extra cable to use the Internet on the Coffee Table, which took 2 hrs to resolve. No reflection of the staff, as they were very good, just poor room planning.

Amazing design of interiors in suite. Magnificent view and a shower, a hairdryer, and bathrobes in the bathroom. - Location right by Block M, the nearest mall, shops, and malls, plus nightlife clubs or karaoke, very convenient for offices around central Jakarta

The staff were very enthusiastic and eager to please reflecting the high standards of the hotel generally from room service to cleanliness

The breakfast was dull and with some more thought could be much better. Room facilties such as Internet access could also be improved a little.

I recently stayed at Hotel Gran Mahakam for a short business trip. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. My room was clean and well-maintained, with a very comfortable bed that sometimes caused me to oversleep my breakfast. The breakfast buffet offered a delicious variety of food choices. The location was great, next to Barito Park where I enjoyed morning walks and tried some nearby street food for a taste of the local cuisine.

100% Recommend this hotel.

My room was upgraded for 2 stores suit. Friendly staff, very nice pool on the roof.

I was at the hotel 2 times already, booked via Booked.net, but when I reached the Front Desk, they said they couldn't find my reservations. 2 times it happened already. So I had to forward my booking confirmation email to the hotel again. Check-in time was prolonged due to these incompetencies.
